With the Sunrise - July 27, 2011

in the bathroom tears are falling as she tries to roll a j,
the cigarettes and broken hearts are wasting her away,
her hands are trembling the pills are setting in,
and she forgot that shes allergic to the thrill again,
oh silently she wishes to be somewhere else,
to be far far away from this living hell,
and in her mind shes back in lake michigan,
waiting for the tides to take her in to take her in again,

shes got her fathers hair and her mothers eyes,
somewhere between the sea and the sky she lies,
but over and over she fucks up her life,
spending her nights right next to a knife,
and the oak tree where she used to lay,
is now covered by endless vines,
and she wonders why and she wonders why,
the world just keeps passing, passing her by,

why wont she realize,
that freedom lies,
with the sunrise,
the sunrise.

why wont she realize,
that freedom lies,
with the sunrise
the sunrise.

two hundred dollars is all to her name,
spending on drugs that wont stop the pain,
the clocks read the same as the thoughts in her head,
as they're passing right by like stones through a shed,
in the waters she treads trying to hide,
all the darkness and pain thats waiting inside,
another false smile she shares with the world,
dancing with the devil aint, aint meant for a girl,

why wont she
why wont she realize,
that freedom lies,
with the with the sunrise,
