Those Were The Days - January 2, 2011
Those were the days,
When I'd call you to play,
A simple patch of grass,
Could be anything.
A farm, a city, outerspace.
We could be anything.
Wizards, superheros, monkeys.
A hamock became a boat,
The grass an ocean.
All the adventures together,
Those I will not forget,
For those were the days,
When our imagination soared like flying birds.
The mind of a child,
Is a mind at its best.
