This is Me - May 13, 2011

My name is Mary.  I'm fourteen-years-old.  My life is a neverending spiral of ups and downs.  Imagine living a lie.  Imagine plastering a false smile to your lips that could lighten up your face, not to mention an entire room, but inside, you feel as though you're ready to just end it all.  If you live in a world of people implying that you can't measure up, if people ignore your every attempt to speak, and if those who you think are supposed to always love you just choose to at certain times, then what is this?  Is this life?  Life's a struggle that no teen like me can get through.  My group, the outcast mob, are closer than those preppy skanks will ever be.  They converse about each other behind each other's backs in ways that suggest utter hatred!  Us outcasts sick together, we're family, we're friends.  You can't tear a family, we're linked together by handcuffs with a broken and thrown out key.  The day you separate us is the day one of us dies.  Even then, we'll be one short.  Dog eats dog and vice versa, or does that make sense?  I don't know...  I guess I have a lot of thinking to do.

I'll be your friend, Mary! Good story Molly; I feel sorry for Mary like she's a real person.

She basically is. I see how teens are. This is the exact way I felt only two years ago. People need to be aware of what teens go through. Something needs to change.
