Roadkill Love - February 27, 2011

Roadkill Love sent to me from heaven above found him where the hiway sign said curve ahead an eighteen wheeler had trashed his body, but missed his head.
Got out my spatula and plastic sack, scraped and scraped, and put him in the trunk in back. Roadkill Love.
Took him home to my lonely place, his face so pretty, gonna call him Ace.
His head’s real loose so I took it off with care, didn’t want to mess up my Roadkill Lovers’ hair.
Well the rest of him, there wasn’t much, so I took him in the bathroom and began to flush.
Got Aces’ head and put it in a jar, didn’t want my Roadkill Love to get too far; then I added some special juice. Didn’t want his skin to get real loose; juice really made his pinned open blue eyes shine. Now Ace is really mine. Roadkill Love,
Now he looks out really just stares. My friends all tell me it makes them scared.  But me and Ace look at each other for hours without any trouble, like any other married couple. So don’t come round trying to steal my love, he was sent to me from up above. My Roadkill Love
