Poem - October 30, 2010

There were kids throughout the town,
Just right when the sun was going down
Kids were dressing up scary,
just like Bloody Mary
Mary came to my door,
She looked very poor
I gave her candy and left it out,
the kind that didn't taste like Brussels sprouts
I waited and waited but no other people came,
so I went back in my house and waited until next year because I'm lame
