Silence. Nothing else but the melody pouring out
Feelings. Hard to contain but easy to shout
He sits and waits, she knows he's there
But her heart is cold, she doesn't care

Tomorrow will be better, shes on her way
But he hopes in vain, and starts to fade
His eyes turn silver from regret and time
He wasted his life living on the sideline

Listen. To the empty heartbeat lingering around
Sorrow. Easily hidden but not hard to be found
The raindrops fall, they mix with his tears
Lines on his face, a story of passing years

Its ending now, his eyes shudder closed
His breath is a breeze, thats an icy cold
He smiles slightly though motionless he lays
The loves for her is great, it still remains

Hope. Things may never happen but believe 
Love. Powerful yet deadly it can be
The only thing he wanted was a wish
To prove his devotion with a kiss.
