Jumper - December 27, 2010

She lifts her head up to the sky,
Contemplating whether or not she should follow through.
She's lost in a shadow,
Pulling her into darkness.
She makes a move toward the ledge,
Lights and sirens tell her that she'll have to wait.
She waits until she can see a person coming toward her,
Arms streched out, beckoning her to come.
But it's too late,
She's lost in everything that she fears..
She thinks no one loves her,
She has no idea how many of us do.
But it's too late,
She is a jumper.
Flying,
Flying into the dark, night sky.
Only to be found by those watching,
And we never even said goodbye.
